Our courses at Safir Language Academy include a series of Teaching Practice (TP) assessments designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical teaching application. Each TP session allows participants to engage actively with the course material by conducting a 30-minute lesson on a topic covered in the module—be it functional language, productive or receptive skills, or other areas of language teaching. These sessions serve as a platform for trainees to demonstrate their grasp of the course content in front of their peers.
Following each teaching practice, our experienced trainers provide detailed feedback, pinpointing areas of strength and suggesting areas for improvement. This constructive feedback is crucial as it helps participants refine their teaching methods and understandings directly within the context of a real classroom setting.
Final Demo: Demonstrating Teaching Mastery
The culmination of our course is the Final Demo, where trainees’ abilities are evaluated based on their performance across all the course. The outcome of this assessment will determine their qualification level within the Safir Language Academy. Trainees could either qualify to teach, be asked to retake the Demo, or receive a certificate of completion, based on the grade achieved. This grading system is designed to uphold the high standards expected at Safir, ensuring that all teachers are thoroughly prepared. It also offers opportunities for continuous improvement and skill enhancement for those who require further development.
