Speaking Only
Why Join Speaking Only Classes?
In this day and age, mastering spoken English has become an essential skill. Many learners may have strong reading, writing, and listening skills, but when it comes to speaking, they struggle. Speaking Only courses (SPO) are designed to help you:
- Overcome the fear of speaking: Many language learners are afraid of making mistakes while speaking. These courses will boost your confidence, enabling you to speak more fluently and accurately.
- Expand your practical vocabulary: With a focus on everyday and specialised topics, you’ll expand your vocabulary to use in various situations.
- Practice in real-life scenarios: These classes offer a fantastic opportunity to practise speaking in situations that closely resemble real-life conversations, helping you prepare for real-world interactions.
- Improve listening skills and quick response: Regular conversation practice not only enhances your speaking but also sharpens your listening skills, allowing you to respond more quickly and naturally.
- Enhance fluency: One of the biggest challenges for learners is speaking fluently without long pauses. These courses will help you maintain smooth and natural conversations.
Who Are These Classes Suitable For?
Our Speaking Only classes are specifically tailored for learners aged 15 and above, with a minimum English level of 103 in our General English courses. These courses are structured to meet the needs of students who are eager to enhance their practical communication skills.
One of the key differences between these courses and traditional free discussion classes is the focused approach to improving both speaking and listening abilities. While free discussion sessions often involve open-ended conversations, Speaking Only classes target the essential skills needed for real-life communication. The reason is simple: effective communication is built on the foundation of speaking and listening. These two skills work hand-in-hand, and without mastery of both, achieving meaningful conversations becomes challenging.
At the heart of these classes lies the principle that communication is an active exchange. By developing your ability to speak clearly, listen attentively, and improve your pronunciation, you’ll develop the confidence and competence required for everyday interactions. Accurate pronunciation plays a crucial role in ensuring your message is understood correctly, making it an essential component of effective communication. This is why our courses are meticulously designed to give you the best possible environment to practise and refine these crucial skills.

Class Schedules and Patterns
Our SPO courses are offered in two flexible formats: two days per week or three days per week, allowing you to choose the schedule that best fits your lifestyle and learning needs.
- Three days per week:
- Regular Classes: These are ideal for learners who prefer a steady pace. Each session lasts 90 minutes, with classes held three times a week over a period of five weeks. This pattern is perfect for individuals who can commit to regular practice but need time between sessions to absorb new material.
- Intensive Classes: If you’re want to make faster progress, the intensive pattern offers two 90-minute sessions per day, three days a week, lasting for three weeks. This is a great option for learners who want to see significant improvement in a shorter amount of time and can dedicate more hours to study each week.
- Two days per week:
- Regular Classes: These are held twice a week, with each session lasting 90 minutes, and the course runs for four weeks. This format is suited for those who want a more relaxed schedule while still making consistent progress.
- Intensive Two-Day Classes: In this format, there are three 90-minute sessions per week, spread over two days. The course is completed in three weeks, making it an excellent choice for learners who need a balanced approach between intensive study and personal time.
This variety of schedules allows you to tailor your learning experience based on your availability and learning preferences.
