Through our Teachers Without Borders (TEWIBO) programme, we are committed to bridging the educational gap by sending skilled and passionate teachers to less privileged communities. Our mission is to provide these regions with the tools and knowledge needed to empower their students, fostering growth and opportunity where it’s needed the most.
In many less privileged areas, access to experienced teachers and modern teaching resources is limited. TEWIBO aims to change that by mobilising a network of dedicated professionals who are eager to make a difference. These teachers not only deliver essential education but also inspire local communities, sharing innovative teaching methods and creating a sustainable impact that goes far beyond the classroom.
By connecting students in these areas with qualified teachers, we help open doors to a brighter future. Whether it’s through in-person teaching or remote support, our programme ensures that education reaches those who need it most, enabling growth and transformation in regions that have historically been overlooked.
Who Are We?
In 2021, TEWIBO was founded to bring quality education to less privileged and remote areas of Iran. By connecting experienced teachers with talented students in these regions, TEWIBO offers free educational support, aiming to close the gap in access to education. TEWIBO’s primary goal is to ensure that every student, regardless of their location, has an equal opportunity to learn and develop the skills needed to succeed in both academic and professional life.
The Mission of Teachers Without Borders
The challenges faced by students in deprived regions of Iran are vast. Limited access to educational resources, economic hardships, cultural barriers, and deep-rooted social inequalities often lead to high dropout rates. Despite these obstacles, many of these students possess remarkable intelligence and potential. With the right support, they could play a crucial role in the country’s development and progress.
At the same time, there are numerous teachers across Iran who are deeply committed to the idea that every child deserves a quality education, particularly those in less privileged communities. Many of these teachers are willing to volunteer their time and expertise to teach the students in such areas but are hindered by distance and lack of information on how to contribute.
As a non-profit organisation, TEWIBO aims to bridge this gap. With the help of generous donors and supporters, we strive to provide essential educational tools, such as tablets and laptops, to students in remote areas. In addition, we have created an online platform to connect passionate volunteer teachers with students in need, ensuring that these bright young minds have the opportunity to succeed and shape a brighter future for themselves and their communities.
